Local tip: Saturday, October 24 is East Pasco's "super Saturday." You can spend the afternoon at the Wesley Chapel Fall Festival, then head east on SR 54 for the evening at Zephyrhills' Halloween Howl. The drive between the two downtowns is typically about 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic.

2. Best Fall Events in Zephyrhills

Halloween Howl on Main Street

This is the one Zephyrhills circles on the calendar. Main Street Zephyrhills hosts its 2026 Halloween Howl on October 24 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at 38500 5th Ave. Past Howls have featured food and vendor booths, trick-or-treat stations and even a ghost tour through the historic district. Arrive early to walk downtown before the evening crowds build, and follow Main Street Zephyrhills on Facebook and Instagram for the 2026 lineup.

The Harvest Festival

The Zephyrhills Wesley Chapel Ministerial Association hosts an annual Harvest Festival in partnership with Main Street Zephyrhills. It features local business crafters, churches and food vendors, a kids' zone with inflatables and games, and a main stage of local musicians, singers and dancers. The 2026 date hasn't been posted yet, so watch the Harvest Festival Facebook page for updates.

Veterans Day Parade

Fall in Zephyrhills carries a strong sense of hometown pride, and this parade is one of the clearest examples. The 2026 Veterans Day Parade steps off downtown on Saturday, November 7, from 10:00 AM to noon. Pair it with a visit to the Zephyrhills Museum of Military History.

A Fall Afternoon Downtown

Downtown Zephyrhills is easy to enjoy on any fall weekend. Walk the Main Street Zephyrhills murals, grab a coffee on 5th Avenue, and finish at Zephyrhills Brewing Company, whose patio overlooks the historic district.

Watch the Sky at Skydive City

Zephyrhills is known worldwide as a skydiving destination. On a clear fall afternoon, watching canopies drift down over Skydive City is a free, uniquely Zephyrhills way to spend an hour.

Looking Ahead: Festival of Lights

Fall hands off to the holidays with the Main Street Zephyrhills Festival of Lights on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 4:00 to 9:00 PM. Save the date here.

3. Best Fall Events in Wesley Chapel

The Wesley Chapel Fall Festival & Carnival

This is Wesley Chapel's signature fall weekend, and one of the largest free fall festivals in the North Tampa Bay area. The 22nd annual festival, presented by Pasco County Recycling and hosted by the North Tampa Bay Chamber, returns to The Grove on October 24–25 with free event entry. Festival hours are 11 AM to 6 PM both days.

What to expect:

• Carnival rides and games by Dreamland Amusements running October 22–25, with the carnival open until 11 PM (Dreamland Amusements)
• A kids' zone with bounce houses, face painting, pony rides and pumpkin photo stops on Saturday and Sunday
• Costume contests for kids and pets and a Trick-or-Treat Stroll with free candy on Sunday
• A business expo with more than 60 local businesses handing out candy, giveaways and raffles all weekend

Watermelon Swim's Indoor Pumpkin Patch

Watermelon Swim's annual pumpkin patch runs October 4–31, and the Wesley Chapel location offers a cozy indoor setup with fall photo spots. It's free to attend, and a portion of proceeds supports the organization's swim programs, including its program for swimmers with disabilities. Details here.

Hallowrink at AdventHealth Center Ice

AdventHealth Center Ice on Cypress Ridge Blvd. has hosted a Halloween-themed skate with themed music and a costume contest, and it's an easy way to feel a little chill in October. 2026 dates are still to be announced, so check AdventHealth Center Ice for the schedule.

The Shops at Wiregrass

KRATE at The Grove

The container park at KRATE at The Grove is one of the best places in Wesley Chapel to spend a cooler fall evening, with dozens of food and drink vendors, colorful murals and weekend entertainment. During festival weekend it sits right next to the action.

4. Pumpkin Patches Near Zephyrhills & Wesley Chapel

Scarecrow Festival Pumpkin Patch (Dade City). Along with build-your-own scarecrows, the Pioneer Florida Museum's festival includes a pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting. It's one day only, October 10. Pioneer Florida Museum

Watermelon Swim (Wesley Chapel). This free, indoor pumpkin patch is open October 4–31. Details

Keel Farms (Plant City). Harvest Days combine a pumpkin patch with hayrides, camel rides and a sprawling corn maze, plus more than 40 local vendors and food trucks. It's about a 30-minute drive south of Zephyrhills. Keel Farms

Local tip: Many East Pasco churches, garden centers and roadside stands open small pumpkin lots in early to mid-October. They're great for a quick porch-pumpkin run without a long drive.

5. Corn Mazes & Farms Around East Pasco

Keel Farms, Plant City. Free admission, a large corn maze, hayrides, and seasonal wine and cider releases every October weekend.

Fox Squirrel Corn Maze, Plant City. Features a corn maze, live music, duck races, fall games and a pumpkin patch. Bring cash, since many on-site vendors don't take cards. Website

Harvest Holler, Polk City. A working family farm with a corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, farm animals and a cow train, opening in September. Harvest Holler

Halloween night, Saturday, October 31. With Halloween on a weekend, expect neighborhood trick-or-treating to be busier than usual across East Pasco. Many communities share their plans on HOA pages and neighborhood social groups, so check yours for details.

Scarecrow Run 5K, Dade City. An inaugural run/walk on Saturday, October 31, at Little Everglades Ranch, with gates opening at 7:00 AM and the race starting at 8:00 AM. Proceeds support the Pioneer Florida Museum. Details

The Rattlesnake Festival, Dade City. This East Pasco tradition dates back decades. It began in San Antonio in 1967, and after the Thomas Promise Foundation of Zephyrhills took it over, it moved to the Pasco County Fairgrounds in Dade City to allow room to grow. It is traditionally held in October, but 2026 dates had not been posted at publication, so check RattlesnakeFestival.com before you go.

Scarecrow Festival, Dade City. Kids can build a scarecrow, paint pumpkins, ride ponies and visit the petting zoo, and there's a Spheres Bubble Show by a four-time Guinness World Record holder who appeared on America's Got Talent. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and free for kids under 5, with tickets sold at the gate only.

Wesley Chapel Fall Festival Kids Zone. Bounce houses, face painting, pony rides and pumpkin photo stops all weekend.

Spooktacular at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. A family-friendly Halloween celebration every Saturday and Sunday from September 12 to November 1, with trick-or-treating, storytime and a costume parade, included with park admission. Spooktacular

Pioneers & Beers, Dade City. Saturday, October 24, 10 AM–4 PM at the Pioneer Florida Museum, pairing Florida pioneer heritage with craft beer and spirits tastings from local breweries and distilleries, plus live entertainment and vendors. Details

Pumpkin cider at Keel Farms. Stroll the corn maze, then settle in under the oaks with a seasonal pumpkin-spice wine or apple-pie cider.

Brewery hop plus Halloween Howl. Start with a flight at Zephyrhills Brewing Company, then walk out to the Howl on October 24.

A KRATE night in Wesley Chapel. Pick a different food stall each and meet back at a patio table, then finish with a nightcap at Double Branch Artisanal Ales at The Grove.
